Empowering Licensing Artists with Betsy Cordes | Elizabeth Silver

For more than 10 years, Betsy Cordes has advised artists one-on-one through February 13 Creative, a business and brand advising agency. In late 2019, she launched the Art Brand Alliance, a professional organization dedicated to the needs and interests of entrepreneurial visual artists—those who are building multiple-income-stream businesses based on their art, passions and values. She believes that developing a successful art-based business is an art form in and of itself, and she wants to help more artists define what that looks like for them.

In this video we dive into all kinds of topics from the changing art licensing industry, how the internet has made things easier and harder for art brands, Visual AI and how it could affect artists, and commonalities between artists of all skill levels and more.
