"Nightlife in Playa de las Américas is divided into two major spots. The first is known as ‘The Patch`. The Patch is very diverse and multi-cultural, with a broad range of music tastes from Moroccan bongo influences to relaxing soul. The Patch has been under a lot of development such as the Tibu’s Bar, which have devoted a large amount of money and time to its creation. The Patch attracts a wide variety of crowds especially the mature ones who would like to enjoy the original rave nights and remember them exactly as they were.

The second major spot is known as ‘the Veronica’s Strip'. It is quite the opposite of its partner ‘the Patch’, boasting cheesy bars and clubs. Although tacky, the Veronica’s Strip offers a brilliant night on the dancefloor and with famous bars such as Lineker’s you won’t be disappointed. The Veronica’s Strip is better suited to the younger crowd due to its wild atmosphere and lively party games.

The Pirámide de Arona Theatre, located on Avenida de Las Americas offers professional theatre plays and performance. There is now a nightclub located on the ground floor which was previously a bar and restaurant.
