A Life Defined by Alcohol

From the age of 14 to 34, alcohol consumed my life. It was everything to me. I couldn't stop, I loved it so much. The very first time I had it, I knew it was over. It became the best thing I've ever had, and I wanted to do it for the rest of my life. I knew it wasn't normal, I knew I was an alcoholic in high school, but I kept it a secret. I drank every day, even during school and skipped classes. I was addicted.
