New Line of Milling Heads

These milling heads are new among the accessories that we offer with our machines, especially with smaller machines such as WFC 10 and WFT 11. By using a milling head, you make a horizontal boring mill into a multifunctional machining centre, making it possible to machine effectively even very complex workpieces. In other words, with a milling head, you can easily extend the technological capabilities of FERMAT machines.
PHA 0,001S - a right-angle stepless milling head. Right-angle means it has one axis for positioning (perpendicular to the axis of the boring spindle) and stepless - the head indexing is 0.001 degree. The head is fully automatic - clamping on the headstock, clamping of the tool and positioning.
PHA 2,5 - head for less complicated workpieces, with positioning indexing of 2.5 degrees. This one is also fully automatic, only it is positioned by the spindle of the headstock and kept in position by hirth coupling. On the one hand, this head is not positioned so fast, but on the other hand there is a more favourable price.
OHA 2,5 - orthogonal milling head. It has two perpendicular axes of positioning, one vertical and one horizontal. This head type might be necessary for reaching certain surfaces of more complex workpieces, as it has a very good reach and enables machining in the negative position of the A axis.
Automatic C-axis - it can be used with any type of headstock and also with any type of manual milling heads - and not only with those made by FERMAT. If you need a small milling head that would fit inside of your workpiece, you can choose one of the manual milling heads from our external suppliers, and combine it with FERMAT automatic C-axis.

They are small and compact and compatible with small machines such as WFC 10 and WFT 11. BUT not only with these - depending on the application, their small dimensions may also be beneficial for bigger machines, such as WFT 13, or even WRF.
