Bradley Kincaid - Robin Red Breast (1947)
In this rare Grand Ole Opry aircheck, legendary country music pioneer Bradley Kincaid performs his favorite of the Easter season, "The Legend Of The Robin's Red Breast", introduced by Cousin Louis Buck on the 9:00 Royal Crown Cola Grand Ole Opry segment from December 6, 1947. "Robin Red Breast" was one of the most popular songs of Kincaid's later career, recorded three separate times including Kincaid's very last major label recording, for Capitol in 1950. Bradley Kincaid spent a little over three and a half years in Nashville as a member of the Grand Ole Opry cast, joining in December 1945 and performing on the Opry until July 16, 1949.
