The BOX OFFICE ARTIST Had Me Color His EPIC MINECRAFT ART (So I Animated it too)

Like most people who enjoy art videos on YouTube, I've been following The Box Office Artist aka James Raiz for ages! And this week I had the honor of working with him on a collab piece! James was working on a Minecraft video on his channel and wanted some of the art colored. So we met up, he showed me the piece and I got down to work coloring his awesome illustration of the Minecraft Box art in his style, with Jason Mamoa cast as Steve.

And I felt like I couldn't leave it at just that... so I decided to animate the drawing a bit as well and make it into a Motion Poster! Oh, plus before all this I did a quick 'Illustrator Reacts to TheBoxOfficeArtist's art'!

And through the whole process of working on James' art, my main focus was to not ruin it and to make his drawing shine as much as possible! While I go through the digital colouring process in Autodesk sketchbook I also give tips and advice on how to color work like this.
