London Ratha‑yātra 2026 | A Day Out With Bhakti Lyfe

The 2026 London Ratha‑yātra began at 12:00 PM on Park Lane, travelled through Piccadilly and Haymarket, and concluded with a vibrant festival at Trafalgar Square from 2 PM to 5 PM, filled with kirtan, dancing, and free prasadam.

I joined the celebration together with our Southend Bhakti Lyfe devotees and spent the entire day in the sunshine, soaking up the atmosphere, the music, and of course the delicious prasadam. Our group met HG Yogeshvara Gopinath Dasa in Stratford, then took the Elizabeth Line to Bond Street. From there we walked to Hyde Park Corner, where we caught up with the Ratha‑yātra chariots.

I had my trusty camera with me to capture the day and my tambourine to add a little rhythm along the way. What an experience.
