Nextera is my pick as the leader in the Renewable/clean energy industry. It's a major supplier to the US electricity grid and an independent solar and wind farm developer. This means you get the stability and dividend of a utility and the growth of an energy company, the best of both worlds

Its' share price has surged over 400% in less than 10 years and has more than doubled the s&p500s performance. I think this can continue, due to the levelized cost of clean energy is rapidly declining and the world is shifting to clean energy and phasing out coal/oil.

Nextera is also one of only a handful of companis scoring a triple A on ESG, meaning they recieve billions of dollars every year from investors tracking ESG rating.
