Corrosion Lecture 7: Stress corrosion cracking and hydrogen damage

This is lecture 6 of 8 from my undergraduate Corrosion lecture course. The subject is localised corrosion phenomena: descriptions of real world corrosion processes, and some discussion of how to deal with them. This lecture covers the major problems of Stress Corrosion Cracking (e.g. Uster swimming pool ceiling collapse / Silver bridge collapse) and hydrogen damage.

Lecture notes can be obtained here: https://github.com/quantitativeimaging/Lecture_Notes
