so
1. i feel bad that i told myself i was going to make many got vids after my last one but i got lazy.
2. i started so many within this last year but never got around to finishing them. this one included, it was the one i was closest to finishing and ended up finishing it today. you can tell i got lazy with some parts (just how d&d got lazy with the writing of s8) and i cut it bc originally the video was longer than this. i just wanted to get it over with (just how d&d wanted got/s8 to be over as quickly as possible 🙄)
3. i am utterly and completely appalled by this season. i am disappointed. more than anything i am hurt as a fan for many years i can not express how hard these past few weeks were. the character assassination after assassination has been a mess. i love my got women and...sigh i’m disappointed.
4. i love daenerys. she was a character i looked up to the most in this series and i’m sadden at what they did to her in just two episodes. if they were gonna go down the mad!dany road i would have loved it IF they had written it better. FORESHADOWING IS NOT CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT. everything she did that ppl said was foreshadowing as “mad queen”...every character in this show did the same exact thing. oh but no she’s a targaryen so that makes her mad? jon snow is a targaryen. why is he not considered mad? there were many targaryens who have never gone mad. she watched her abusive brother die before her eyes? so she’s mad? arya has no emotion when she kills the ppl on her list but no she’s not mad? sansa watched petyr baelish beg for his life? watched and smirked as ramsay got eaten by dogs? but well of course she’s not mad? i said it before and i’ll say it again your foreshadowing shouldn’t dictate the characters development. point is: i have much more to say but idc anymore i am now at my acceptance stage and i’m tired.
5. i will not vid this show anymore. i am so sorry. if i do decide to, it will be a dany video or two. mostly to say my goodbye to a show i thought i could love but every time i think about it i am hurt.
6. i loved all the characters. i loved the characters in this video but this season has made me hate them all. so in my book s8 didn’t happen.
7. asoiaf books are my only hope to this mess.
8. finally, i just want to say thank you to the cast and crew of this show. i know how hard it is and i respect every one of them. their talents amazes me. thank you for bringing these characters to life, this story, this world. thank you grrm. i appreciate you all. except d&d.
