One angry woman had two daughters – one of her own and the second one – a stepdaughter. The woman pampered her own daughter and forced the stepdaughter to work very hard. Once the woman took her stepdaughter to the forest and left her there. The girl met Baba Jaga and the Farther Frost there, who defended her against Baba and took her to his home. When the girl showed herself to be hard-working and tidy, Farther Frost together with the “12 months” brothers gave her a lot of presents and sent her home safe. Seeing the gifts, the woman sent her own daughter to the forest but the girl was rude to the Farther Frost and turned into a snow woman as a punishment.
