Ferranti Strike and Terrain Following Radar

Early 1960s promotional film for the Ferranti Strike and Terrain Following Radar, originally developed for the cancelled BAC TSR-2 Tactical Strike and Reconnaissance aircraft. The film includes flight trials footage demonstrating the terrain following capabilities of the radar over the UK's national low level routes using an English Electric Canberra and a Blackburn Buccaneer.
