Suno drum separation??

If you're working with Suno stems, you already know the drums come glued together — and that's a problem when you want to trigger your own samples or reshape the groove. In this video, I walk through a phase cancellation workflow inside BandLab's Cakewalk Next using a drum gate (Oxford Drum Gate), a free phase flip plugin by HOFA, and TDR Nova for cleanup.

The core idea: gate out the kick and snare, flip the phase on those gated tracks, and sum them with the original drum stem. The kick and snare cancel out, leaving you with just the overheads and room — and isolated kick/snare tracks you can use to trigger samples in something like Slate Trigger.

It's not a perfect stem split, but it gets you close enough to work with creatively. Full conversation and more workflows like this at mixden.tv.
