Bryan Day Invented Instruments and Euphotic [Episode 126]

We visit Sherman Street Studios for "Voluntary Semblance", a program featuring new semi-autonomous music instruments by Bryan Day and a performance by Euphotic.

"Next Wednesday, I will be displaying 13 of my autonomous, semi-autonomous and unconventionally played musical instruments and sound objects from the last 4 years at the Sherman Street Studios / New Nothing Cinema in SoMa in San Francisco. A couple of pieces I've never had on display, a few prototypes and a number of things that have been updated since the last time they have been out. Everything that can be played is free to be experimented with and later in the evening. At 8pm I'll be performing in the theater with my trio Euphotic (Cheryl Leonard, Tom Djll and myself) featuring live visuals by Jorge Bachmann. The event is free and there will be snacks and beverages on the house."
