Video Guides - UCM - Call Park
Call park is a method used to position callers in a unique slot. Think of it as a reserved parking spot in a lot that has parking spaces numbered 1-10. This feature is commonly used in retail and hardware businesses, because the employees are constantly in different locations throughout these types of stores.
In this scenario, you have someone who will Park the caller on slot 2, then Page/Announce to the employee that they have a Call on hold on parking slot 2. The employee will find the nearest phone and dial the parking lot number 2, better yet, the phone is configured to monitor the parking lot, allowing you to simply press the parking lot key for single key call retrieval.
Neat trick, right?
