THERE'S AGATES EVERYWHERE - Black Soil Area | Liz Kreate

Scattered on the ground are all sorts of agates of different colors and shapes, crystals and other gemstones. Anyone can come here and get as much agate and gemstones as you want.
Agate Creek fossicking area is located 70 km. South of Forsayth, Queensland Australia by a gravel road but also suitable for conventional vehicle. There is a designated camping area with shower, toilet and potable drinking water. Winter is the best time to come here as the weather is not too hot.
NOTE: Please be aware that fossicking in Queensland, Australia requires a current fossicking license or fossicking camping permit which can be obtained online or from Queensland regional and district offices and authorized agents.
