*Gold Recovery from Sim Cards*
I use a very easy method to recover gold from sim cards.I take only 0.700g sim cards and dip them in HCL. Add some water then add 50ml HNO3. Give 1 hour for reaction. then I add more HNO3 to dissolve gold completely in solution. After 1 hour all metals had dissolved.leave for cool and then filter the solution. For gold extraction, I made SMB solution and addict in aqua regia solution. Leave overnight. Next day, Gold dust settled down. Filter gold dust, burn filter paper and melting gold,.
I recover approx 0.11mg gold and this was a good result.
