(Fan-Edit) of Regulation Gameplay / Regulation Podcast's Gameplay of 3D Ultra Mini-Golf, released 21 hours ago, making this (Fan-Edit) my fastest edit based on watching a new video, memorizing it, editing it, making the art, and publishing it: (even though this is a scheduled release for Tuesday, June 25th)

If you have stumbled on this video, and you want to know what this channel is about, you're in luck!, I make videos of Rooster Teeth / Regulation Podcast/Gameplay content through making (Fan-Edits).

With a background in Experimental Video since 2007, I use my skills as a video-editor of almost 17 years to make edits to Rooster Teeth and RT-adjactent content that I would have enjoyed if they edited a certain way, back when they were releasing content.

All my Custom YouTube Thumbnails are made by me (Connor Dunham) Edited on iPad Pro (2018) with Apple Pencil 2 for drawing. In fact, all of the 130+ videos on this channel are made entirely on my iPad Pro (2018) (12.9-inch).

Common Questions:

Q: Which Program(s) do I use?
A: Videoleap for all of my video editing, and Pixelmator for all of my YT Thumbnails

Q: Who makes these (Fan-Edits) is it a team or a group?
A: This channel is solely run by me (Connor Dunham) a MassArt Graduate.
I am the sole person in charge of all of the edits of video+imagry (YouTube Thumbnails), Social Media Imagery.
Which has it's ups and downs:
Ups like: every video is consistent in style of VFX and editing
& Downs like: it takes a long time to make and schuedule these videos for release

More Q&A:

Q: How long does a (Fan-Edit) take to make?
A: The short answer is: MUCH longer than the original publisher's video:
Explainer: (Rooster Teeth / Regulation), (all the editor needs to do for them is to stitch all of the audio together in perfect alignment and figure out the best moments to cut to. There's normally no music to sync to, as the gameplay footage is already populated with game audio and game music)
A: The long answer?:
In a given Let's Play of 30-45 Minutes in Length, I will watch it as a fan, and realize a song that would work perfectly with the video. In order to properly edit everything together, it takes a bunch of planning, and lots of time to cut down the 30-45 minutes video to the length of the song, and make a rough cut.
Then there's color-grading, VFX transitions, matching the mood of the music to the mood of a given clip, 2nd cut, take break and finish 2x more cuts before it's all done. A Thumbnail can take upwards of 5 hours to edit, crazy right?!
All-in-all: a Fan-Edit can take, 8-hours (which would be fast, sounds not fast at all, but trust me), and a Fan-Edit can take 6 Months...

Thanks for watching!
