Casper the White Lion & 3 Brothers on Patrol - Kruger Park South Africa

The famous white lion of Kruger National Park Casper and his 3 Brothers on Patrol near Satara in the Kruger Park.

The 4 brothers come from the Shishangaan pride in the Kruger Park. The most famous of the brothers, Casper the white lion is 1 of 3 white lions in the Kruger National Park. Once 9 young males born between 2014 and 2015, four of them were killed in 2018 by the current Ngotso south pride males. The 4 remaining males Casanova, Casper, Footloose and Mfowetfu have become a force to be reckoned with around Satara over the last year announcing their presence at every opportunity and can often be heard roaring around Satara rest camp. At this sighting they were in close proximity of the Nsemani pride who have been feeling the pressure from Casper and his brothers. The Nsemani pride is a very appealing pride for these four lions considering the amount of lionesses in the pride. While they seem to have taken over the small pride around Satara, A coalition of 4 males will be keen to take over one of the bigger prides in the area.
