FEEDING ALL MY FISH! (Teaching My Child How To Prepare Frozen Fish Food)

We are preparing and feeding frozen food to our fish today! I'm teaching my daughter how to take care of the animals! She loves helping mommy take care of all the animals. Since she has been getting more and more into fish keeping lately, I thought it was time to really start showing her how to prepare and use a variety of fish foods, starting with frozen. (we will work our way up to live)

When you are preparing frozen bloodworms, brine shrimp, or frozen fish food in general you first want to thaw out the food in a bit of tank water or dechlorinated water. After the frozen fish food has thawed you can use a strainer or fish net to dump the food in and give it a rinse. Then the food will be ready to feed the fish with, and you won't make a huge mess in your tank. :)
