YSL L'Homme Ultime (vs L'Homme vs Y EDP)

Should you buy YSL L'Homme Ultime especially now that it is discontinued and soon to become more scarce? Here is my review of it.

Surprisingly L'Homme Ultime bears more resemblance to me to Y EDP than the original L'Homme, with shared notes of ginger, sage, geranium, and apple. There's a fair bit of sweetness but also a crisp freshness and a nice dewy rose which makes this one unique. It is like a fusion of Cartier's Declaration D'un Soir, La Nuit de L'Homme, and YSL Y. I believe with this fragrance, Dominique Ropion was already making the transition into the Y DNA which came afterwards.
