the talk discussed the importance of self reinventing as young people and experience of self reinventing. A budding Writer, Content Creator, and Educator. A first-class graduate of Theatre and Performing Arts from Ahmadu Bello University (ABU) Zaria, where she lectures with a research interest in Creative Writing and Theatre for Young Audiences - TYA).

Her works, which are largely factional stories, straddle the genres of a dramatic script, TV/Radio Drama and Documentaries.

Rebecca has completed several freelance writing projects, including BBC Media Action’s Drama Series, Story Story (series 32 & 33).

She is a Kashim Ibrahim Fellow 2018/2019 Cohort (a leadership training programme by the Kaduna State Government).

She owns a YouTube channel called Becca Diaries where she talks about Personal Development and Productivity.

She got appointed by the Kaduna State Governor in 2019 as a Special Assistant on Social Investment Programmes. So far, she has contributed to the Social Protection system in Kaduna State.

Ultimately, she desires to promote development in children and young people, within her community, Nigeria and consequentially, the world. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at https://www.ted.com/tedx
