Federal Judge Stops Biden Administration from Lifting Trump-Era Title 42 | EWTN News Nightly

A federal judge is stopping the Biden Administration from lifting Title 42, the Trump-era COVID policy that allows the government to expel migrants who may be a threat to public health. The Centers for Disease Control planned to lift the policy today, but a Louisiana judge ruled the Biden Administration's effort to lift the provision was done illegally. The Department of Justice has filed an appeal. Intercollegiate Studies Institute Fellow at the National Review, Nate Hochman, joins to share what he thinks about this ruling. The judge said lifting the provision would cause "irreparable harm." Hochman tells us his thoughts on that. On another note, President Joe Biden was recently asked if the US would get involved militarily if Taiwan was invaded by China. Biden said yes. A White House official quickly walked back the comments by saying the president's words did not indicate a policy shift. That said, this is not the first time the White House has had to clean-up for Biden when it comes to Taiwan. Hochman discusses his reaction. He fills us in on what else he is following.
