Obamacare Myths vs Facts. Debunking Obamacare myths! Get the facts and separate truth from fiction surrounding the Affordable Care Act. Uncover the real story now!

Hey everyone, welcome back. In today’s video, I’m gonna talk about Obamacare, also known as the Affordable Care Act or ACA - for short, and I’m also gonna be breaking down some common myths about it. So if you’re hesitant about getting insurance through Obamacare, or you just want to know more about the ACA, this video is for you. So without further ado, let’s get started. And also, if you prefer personalized assistance, everyone’s eligible to get a free consultation. If you want to know more, check out the number on the screen, or in the description down below. Now, the most common misconception about getting ACA insurance is that it's complicated and takes a long time. But really, getting insured is simple and easy. You can just call the number on the screen or down in the description, and they’ll answer any questions you may have. There’s also an application on their website that's really easy to fill out. Another myth about the ACA is that only unemployed people are eligible. But that’s not true either, the ACA is available to everyone. You can apply even if you are employed, self-employed, or unemployed. The ACA provides subsidies and tax credits to help make insurance more affordable for people with lower income. In other words, the government would pay for your insurance or part of it, depending on how much money you make. The third misconception about Obamacare is that its coverage and benefits are limited. In reality, ACA plans are required to cover essential health benefits, including preventive care, prescription drugs, hospitalization, mental health services, and maternity care, among others. ACA plans need to follow some rules to ensure people get wide-ranging coverage. The exact benefits vary based on the plan you pick, but they generally have strong coverage. And the last myth is that ACA insurance is unaffordable for the middle class. But that’s not the case since Obamacare offers financial assistance in the form of subsidies and tax credits to make insurance more affordable for the middle class. These subsidies are there to help lower monthly premiums, which are your monthly insurance payments, and, in some cases, reduce out-of-pocket costs. Now, eligibility for this financial assistance is also based on your income level and household size. There are subsidies available that can reduce your payments. And eligibility for these subsidies depends on income and household size. And that's going to be about it, these are some common misconceptions that I busted for you today. And if you have any questions regarding Obamacare or want to know more about what benefits you qualify for, you can call the number on the screen or in the description down below.
