Is Working The Beet Harvest Worth It?

One of the most lucrative work-camping options out there, the sugar beet harvest is an intense 10-14 days (usually) of physical, repetitive work done outdoors in 12 hour shifts until completion without a day off. This year was a record-breaking crop, and we were "lucky" enough to have 15 days.

It's hard. But for the short duration, the money can't be beat. Or is that beet...
