In Other Worlds. Day 01: Broken Worlds

We will be joined by designers of some of our iconic dystopian visions to explore the cautionary tales that may help us to find a way forward, or warn us against digging a deeper hole. The event is curated and directed by film director and speculative architect LIAM YOUNG.

SPEAKERS

— BEEPLE (Mike Winkelmann), graphic designer working across a variety of digital mediums
— Ane Crabtree, costume designer for film and television. She has developed designs for award-winning series such as HBO’s "The Handmaid’s Tale" and "Westworld"
— Joel Collins, production designer who created the look and design for the first 19 chapters of Charlie Brooker's "Black Mirror"

The event is organized with the support of the US Embassy in Moscow.

“In Other Worlds” is Strelka’s annual series of curated events bringing together an ensemble of directors, concept artists, animators and storytellers to explore imaginary worlds, fictional cities and speculative geographies.
