Who Is Kim Ju Ae? Kim Jong Un's Daughter Reportedly Training To Become North Korea's Next Leader

North Korean leader Kim Jong Un has chosen his daughter as his heir, South Korea's spy service informed lawmakers on Thursday. Kim Ju Ae, who is estimated to be 13, has recently been photographed beside her father at high-profile events such as a visit to Beijing in September, her first known travel abroad. The National Intelligence Service (NIS) stated that it made this decision after considering a "range of circumstances," including her more prominent public attendance at official occasions. The NIS also stated that it would keep a close eye on whether she would attend the North's party conference later this month, the main political event conducted once every five years.
