The first music production tip for selling stock music is to play at least one real instrument on every track. Having the live feel of a bass or a guitar can help elevate the energy of your song. The second tip is to have some unique sounds - use a guitar pedal as a send effect, create your own patches, or samples. The third trick is to keep your songs melodically and rhythmically simple, but use layering to create fullness.
