Breaking Barriers: Women Investing in Commercial Real Estate

Only 1.5% of commercial real estate investors in the U.S. are women like me. That number stopped me in my tracks.

I shared this on the Sharing the Wealth podcast with Nicole Pendergrass. Most of that 3% are women signing on guarantees for their husbands or inheriting assets. So only a sliver are actually doing the investing themselves. That means most women are missing out on serious wealth-building opportunities.

It lit a fire under me to start asking questions. Why aren’t more women investing in the space we work in every day?

✅ Many think they need a million dollars to start
✅ They believe it’s too risky, even while holding stocks that drop 80 percent
✅ Fear of losing money stops them cold
✅ They’re sitting on insider knowledge but not using it to build wealth
