Crypto Influencers Are Not Innocent — Some of Them Are the Scam

Crypto Influencers Are Not Innocent — Some of Them Are the Scam

Let’s call it what it is.

“The culprit is you because you didn’t do your own research…”
That’s the classic line influencers use after people lose money in some shady Telegram or fake crypto project they conveniently promoted.

But let’s be honest — influencers are not just innocent bystanders. Some are accomplices.
They post the links. They hype it up. They say, “This is not financial advice,” then flash screenshots of imaginary profits.

And when the rug gets pulled?

They disappear.
Or worse — they blame their audience for being “too naive.”

I’ve had a Telegram group with over 45,000 people. I know the pressure.
Sometimes you’re approached by these fake companies with juicy deals.
They say: “Just post this. We’ll pay you.”
No need to think. No need to vet. Just influence.

But here’s the crazy part:
We complain that the youth are unemployed — but instead of using our platforms to teach them real skills…
We hand them shiny links to financial traps.

Let me say it plainly:

🚫 You don’t need to promote a scam to make money online.
✅ You can run a class. Teach something. Train 50 people and charge 1K each. That’s 50K. Clean money. No regrets.

But that takes work. And many influencers don’t want to do the work.

So what do they do?
They trade their trust for a quick coin — and their followers are the collateral damage.

If you’re a creator, ask yourself: Is your next post a scam in disguise?

Because at this point, it's not ignorance.
It’s a choice.
