Introduction to Veterinary Echocardiography
A basic introduction to three key echo views, and how you can rule out the most common pathology from them, including mitral valve disease, HCM, DCM and general systolic dysfunction (for example, due to heart failure), and pericardial and pleural effusions. You can obtain all of these views from the same position on the chest, without needing to turn the dog or cat over.
If you need help with any of these views, or advice on the best ultrasound machine for your veterinary practice, please get in touch.
If you've enjoyed this video, it would be a fantastic help if you subscribed to this channel. I always see video creators ask this and never knew why it was so important, but having a certain number of subscribers allows you to do new things (such as customise your YouTube URL, for example) - so it is important, and would be very much appreciated.
