Sewing a Masquerade Ball Gown + Tutorial for chemise & Petticoat! Seattle Ball | 18th century sewing

This weekend I attended Venice Is Sinking, an annual masquerade ball in Seattle, and made my most ambitious outfit yet! Inspired by 18th-century silhouettes, I designed, sewed, and assembled every layer—from chemise to corset to petticoats and the outer gown. In this video, I walk through each piece of the outfit, share sewing tips, and talk about the challenges and happy accidents along the way. Plus, meet my kitten Sophie and hear my Halloween costume idea! INCLUDES: guides for making petticoats and chemise
