Synology DS220+ | Upgrading hard drives to expand storage | Drive Replacement

Are you running out of Storage space on your NAS? In this video I walk through how to replace each of the existing drives (Western Digital RED 1TB) with Seagate IronWolf 4TB Drives to upgrade and expand the storage volume from 800MB to 3.6TB.
This should only be attempted if your NAS uses a redundant raid array. THIS PROCEDURE WILL NOT WORK WITH RAID 0/STRIPED ARRAYS.
