Authentication vs Authorization in 40 Seconds

Authentication vs. Authorization is the topic that comes up a lot in the interviews, and beginners often confuse between these topics.

Authentication is the process of verifying someone's identity and the authentication failure results in HTTP response code of 401. Authorization, on the other hand, is verifying the authenticated user's permissions, and authorization failure results in a response code of 403.
