Chinese President #XiJinping attended the 27th Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Economic Leaders' Meeting via video link at the invitation of Malaysian Prime Minister Muhyiddin Yassin.

Xi called for joint efforts to build an Asia-Pacific community with a shared future featuring openness, inclusiveness, innovation-driven growth, greater connectivity and mutually beneficial cooperation. "With China's implementation of the new development paradigm, there is a new picture of a peaceful and prosperous future in the Asia-Pacific region," he said. #APEC2020
