Aufhebung - Asphodel (Official Music Video)

On Asphodel, Aufhebung explores the initially promising yet ultimately dispiriting advent of adulthood and the comatose slumber of childhood for a generation seemingly without hope - though at the end, not all hope is lost.

Earth – the horizon and framework for all known life – is being destroyed by patriarchal psycho capitalists who are motivated by greed and led astray by forces that aim to blur and obscure evident truths. The truth that we choose to emphasize is that the world is dying and that there is work to do to slow down and even stop the further destruction. Stop the mental gymnastics to justify your consumer behavior. Collectively, we hold power.

Asphodel is a plea for the reactivation of what remains of our critical thinking.

In the words of Gnod, just say no to the psycho right-wing capitalist fascist industrial death machine.
