E39 Touring VS E46 Touring: Which should you buy?

IT'S A SHOWDOWN!... Between my 2 favorite wagons made by BMW, the E39 and the E46 Touring models. We're going to be comparing them and making a decision as to which is the better grocery getter/daily/family car.
