Sylo Taraku is 47 years old, educated political scientist from the University of Bergen, and born and raised in Kosovo. When war broke out in Kosovo, hefled and came to Norway as a 17-year-old. He now lives in Drammen withhis family.Since 2016, Sylo Taraku has worked as a consultant in TankesmienAgenda. During his professional career, he has held positions as SecretaryGeneral of NOAS, Deputy Director General of the UDI, Adviser to theNorwegian Helsinki Committee and Secretary General and co-founder ofLIM (Gender Equality, Integration and Diversity).Sylo's primary subject areas are immigration, integration, populism, Islamand extremism. As an author, he has already published 3 recognized bookson these topics.
