This is an upstream affiliate operating in Nigeria. These affiliates include Mobil Producing Nigeria Unlimited (MPN) and Esso Exploration and Production Nigeria Ltd. (EEPNL). Exxon-Mobil Affiliates in Nigeria is involved in the exploration and production of crude oil and natural gas and operates several joint venture concessions and deepwater production.
Exxon-Mobil Scholarships 2020-2021
As a way of giving back to society, Exxon-Mobil Nigeria focuses on education at a variety of levels, such as granting scholarships and developing educational facilities. These form their core educational initiative in Nigeria.
Thus, Exxon-Mobil offers four educational awards to citizens of Nigerians which includes undergraduate scholarships and post-graduate scholarships namely:

Apart from the Exxon-Mobil Undergraduate Scholarship, there are also varieties of Nigerian scholarships by multinationals such as the Chevron scholarship, Agip scholarship, Addax scholarship, Shell scholarship, and even Total scholarship, all of which are available to students at various level of study.
ExxonMobil undergraduate scholarship-MPN Scholarships Awards
This is NNPC-MPN joint venture scholarship. In other words, known as the Exxon-Mobil Undergraduate scholarship. The scholarship opportunity awards up to 500 undergraduate students studying in Nigerian universities.
The scholarship is awarded for one academic year and may be extended for the duration of the approved study on the basis of the academic results of the beneficiaries and the corresponding reports of the institutions.
Hence, the NNPC / MPN Joint Venture Program aims to assist the Nigerian federal government in training and developing middle- and high-level staff for the country while improving the recruitment potential of working candidates in the company.
Level/Field Of Study
In total, nine accredited disciplines are currently being considered for the award. This is strictly based on the merit as determined from the candidates’ academic records, conduct, and performance in the selection tests.
Thus, Applications are invited from all full-time undergraduates in their 100 level or 200 level of study in any of the under-listed courses in Nigerian Universities:
Petroleum Engineering
Chemical Engineering
Mechanical Engineering
Electrical/Electronics Engineering
Civil Engineering
Geology/Geophysics
Medicine (MBBS Only)
Agricultural Science (And related fields)
Computer Science
How much is Exxon Mobil undergraduate Scholarships?
This scholarship is a tuition-free scholarship open as earlier stated, the scholarship is renewable after one academic session depending on the beneficiaries' academic performance.
How to Apply for ExxonMobil Nigeria Scholarship 2020
You can only apply for the Exxon-Mobil scholarship application online, using the Exxon-Mobile online application form on the Mobil application portal. If you are qualified and interested, please complete the form on this website and submit as instructed.
If you don’t submit your Exxon scholarship application within 2 weeks of the scholarship advertisement, you will not be accepted.
Additionally, Exxon-Mobil will require shortlisted candidates to come with the original copy and a photocopy of the following documents for screening prior to taking the qualifying test:
SSCE result or it’s equivalent
Evidence of current year of study
Evidence of admission into a Nigerian University.
Current University Identity Card.
Current Passport Photographs.
Evidence of State of Origin obtained from the appropriate Local Government Area and duly signed by the Chairman or Secretary.
