The Set Up (0:49) - putting the tender alongside, getting the lines ready - double sheet-bends, never bowline-on-bowline, then flaking the lines.
The Approach (2:34) - check your depth, find out about any cross currents;
The Drop (3:16) - put out as much chain as possible;
Securing (5:05) - feed the line out to the person securing to shore, drop some more anchor chain if needed;
Final Adjustment (6:46) - make sure you are happy with depth, make sure there is some tension in the system;
Key takeaways:
1. Have your shoreline ready;
2. Spring lines form an X if you are on a cat;
3. Snub your anchor to take the load off the windlass.
4. Don't tighten up the anchor chain with your windlass!
5. Visit Cumberland Bay in Saint Vincent. It's Beautiful.
