SUP on FROZEN river! Winter Stand Up Paddle Boarding on ICE + Jetboil coffee break (it was COLD!)

This was my first paddle of 2022! 🏄🏼‍♂️

We launched from Ulting and paddled upstream on the River Chelmer. Around the lock there was a large sheet of ice covering the surface on the water which I paddled though ❄️ Pretty cool experience as I've never done that before! Looking forwards to doing it again when we have colder weather (and thicker ice!) We paddled up to the next lock/weir for a coffee stop using the Jetboil before heading back! ☕️
