This song is so mesmerizing in its powerful melody and lyrics I couldn't resist doing a cover version of our own. Karissa was kind enough to offer her sweet vocals which completely captured the essence and romantic air of this beautiful song. The tone, feeling and style of the song is not unlike the recordings of Stacey Kent, Emilie-Clair Barlow and Henri Salvador.
"Mon jardin d'hiver" is a song co-written by Benjamin Biolay and Keren Ann . The musical theme seems to be inspired by Café España of the jazz group Caribbean Jazz Project on their eponymous album The Caribbean Jazz Project [ archive ] in 1995. It was first published in 2000 on the album La Biographie de Luka Philipsen by Keren Ann, then in the same year on the album Chambre avec vue by Henri Salvador.
