GFX 100s Best settings for C-AF | Day3

OK so with any new camera system you’ve got to spend the time testing to really know how it will perform when it really matters and in this case moving into Fujifilm AF is definitely an adjustment from my OMD cameras.

Here are 7 settings to think about as you set up C-AF on your Fujifilm GFX 100s -

• Turn on wide area tracking – this almost always works best for me compared to zones or zones plus face detect
• Set the drive mode to L or H
• I like to use back button focus to make sure CAF is active 100% of the time - Shutter AF – OFF
• I like to turn Face Detection on (without eye detection) for moving people
• AFC case 1
• AFC release priority ON
• Performance is set to BOOST
