Hiking the Mist Trail to Vernal Fall and Nevada Fall is one of the best hikes you can complete while visiting Yosemite National Park. This hike is a moderate to hard hike totally 6.4 miles roundtrip and 2,208 feet of elevation gain. It takes anywhere from 4 to 6 hours to complete. Best time to view the waterfalls with high water flow is in the spring.
