At Nalanda Academy, Wardha, students and staff discovered just that through a five-day mobile filmmaking workshop conducted by Kabes Foundation, built on the belief that anyone can make films with the tools they already have. No fancy cameras. No paid software. No prior experience. Just stories, collaboration, and the will to begin.

Over five days, participants learned the fundamentals of filmmaking: from storytelling and scripting to shooting and editing, entirely on mobile phones. The result was four original short films, created from scratch, that brought to screen stories no one had seen before.

This workshop is a testament to Kabes Foundation's core belief that filmmaking is not a privilege of the few, but a powerful tool of expression available to everyone. By making media education accessible, affordable, and hands-on, Kabes Foundation continues to empower communities across India to find, shape, and share their own narratives.
