Trading off the kill is a very important part of raptor partnership, It's where most distrust and aggression can occur if they feel they are being robbed. This method shows the step up where the glove is garnished with a large reward. The raptor is fed up on the glove to a 3/4 crop where I take the time to ensure a positive experience in the sun and out of wind.
This is one of the most important aspects of falconry. I take great joy in spending time feeding up on the kill with my partner enjoying their warm well-earned meal watching the sun set...!
