The WTO will most likely end up having to play its role as a mediator sooner rather than later, so it would be a good idea to understand what exactly the World Trade Organization is and what this organization does.

A lot of people think they know what the WTO is supposed to do but actually don't. And since discussions about the World Trade Organization tend to be heated in our current political climate, misconceptions abound.
