The Hagar Qim temple complex in Malta is a significant megalithic site, dating back to the 4th millennium BC. It's one of the oldest megalithic religious temples in the world, featuring a complex layout of forecourts, facades, oval chambers, and semi-circular recesses connected by a central passage. The temples are built with large limestone rocks, some weighing up to 20 tons, and are considered among the oldest free-standing structures in the world.
