Respect Your River - Presented By LOOP TACKLE
Discover how Chris Verbiski has managed to bring this river back to life and how he has teamed up with Fisheries and Oceans Canada to do one of the most promising research programs for Atlantic Salmon.
“The advantage of doing research in a place such as this one is that we can remove almost entirely the human factor, and observe the immediate impact. What we realize is that catch and release is beyond antidotal for a river and what we do here, can serve as a blueprint for other rivers. We want to know where the salmon spawn, the times that they enter the river, and the times they depart the river” Chris Verbiski.
