2014 Mercedes S350 BlueTEC (258hp) - 0-200 km/h acceleration (1080p)

This week I present to you a fast Autobahn acceleration test with the awesomely luxurious and new 2014 Mercedes-Benz S-Class (S-Klasse). This entry level S350 BlueTEC model features a 3.0 V6 Diesel with 258 hp, 620 Nm and 7G-Tronic transmission. Although the punch of the engine is great I was expecting a bit more traction at the rear-axle, but it only slips if you really drive it sporty. The ride comfort in "comfort" mode is really great although that this model does not even have the "magic body control" suspension that uses cameras to scan the street before you roll over bumps and holes. Once you select "Sport" the adaptive Airmatic becomes surprisingly hard, very good for corners and fast Autobahn drives.
